Shell WindEnergy and Luminant a subsiadary of TXU is reported to have agreed to jointly build a 3,000 megawatt wind project in Texas, developing Compressed Air Storage Technology for the wind farm.The air is to be pumped underground for use in electricity generation at a later stage improving reliability and economy.
